Privacy Statement for Persons Participating in Integrity In...

What personal information does Integrity In... collect?

When posting a story to Integrity In..., you are asked for your first and last names, your email address, and whether or not you are thirteen years of age and older. Although if you post through the Integrity In... web site, you do have the option of making your posting anonymous, we do keep track of name, email, and age information of all postings.

We encourage parents to review their child's inclusion of personal information in postings. Parents may ask that their child's story or other contributions be altered or deleted, and/or refuse to allow further collection or use thereof, by contacting the Integrity In... staff at the email address below. We also send a confirmation letter to the email address of the sender upon receipt of any posting so that parents might have an opportunity to both be made aware of and examine the contents of a child's posting.

What personal information becomes public?

When you post a story, either directly to one of the Integrity In...mailing lists or through the Integrity In... web site, your name, email address and your story or message are by nature readable by anyone. Such information, for example, can be forwarded by readers to others and can be downloaded and printed for the reader's personal and non-commercial use.

It is Integrity In...'s policy not to provide lists of registrants or to sell, rent, or lease personal information to third parties. Integrity In... may assign ownership of the list of registrants in connection with a merger or sale of all or substantially all of Integrity In...'s assets or to an entity controlling, controlled by, or under common control with Integrity In... (yup, that came from our lawyers :-)

What information do we share with our publishers?

Since a major purpose of Integrity In... is to collect stories which will be considered for publication in a book or books on Integrity stories, all information contained in contributions to Integrity In... may be shared with our publisher. We will make every effort to contact authors (at their provided email addresses) before their stories are included in a publication. At any time, you may request that such information not be shared (for example if you would not like a child's full name or email address included in a story) by contacting us at the address below.

How can you contact Integrity In...?
